Combo-Flo™ Valves – Invented and Produced By A Racer…For Racers!
Doug’s professional background as an inventor and developer of devices and processes for the automated handling of commercial and industrial products has long been intertwined with his love for drag racing.  He started racing in 1969 in a 1967 big block Mustang at Byron Dragway in Illinois.  In 1974 Doug and his brother installed a Gapp & Roush Boss 351 motor to run C/Modified Production. All the racecars to follow had a Boss Ford motor of some size, hence the nickname "BossMan", and of course wife Cathy became the "BossLady". 

In 1990 Doug and Cathy started nitrous racing in UDRA (United Drag Racers Association) Nitrous ProStock with 632 cubic inch Boss 429 Shotgun Ford.  The Bossman is known by other racers as a tough competitor and a true gentleman.  The racing record of the Bossman Racing Team is highlighted by some notably accomplishments including:

1991 UDRA Rookie of the Year
1993 UDRA ProStock Champion
First UDRA 6 second pass at 200 mph
First 6 second 200 mph pass at Thompson Dragway, Thompson, Ohio
Winner "World Series of Dragracing" at Cordova, IL
2002 and 2003 Outlaw ProMod Track Champion, Sunshine Dragway, Tampa, Fl  
2003 ProMod SnowBirds Winner, Bradenton, FL
2004 OutLaw ProMod Track Champion, Immokalee, FL
